Crewe Alexandra Ladies step up into third tier.

Team.stThe club had been through several re-incarnations since its inception in 1985 but from 2012, the ladies section has become a sustainable and progressive club and this has been achieved by mirroring our parent clubs model for developing local talented players and providing them with a pathway into the 1



It’s no coincidence that success for the Alex Ladies has been in line with the emergence of our own home grown players. After two runners up finishes in the North West Women’s Regional League, the championship and promotion to the FA Women’s Premier League was finally secured last season in an unbeaten campaign alongside a County Cup victory.



Following promotion, the club will now take on the likes of Hull City Ladies FC, Leeds Ladies FC and Tranmere Rovers Ladies FC all of which have a rich history in woman’s football.



Team Squad will be made up of players coming through from the club’s development teams. stThese teams will provide brilliant competition for the Alex Ladies and provide a platform to produce football of a high quality. For the upcoming season 50% of the 1

The team of dedicated coaches have helped to develop brilliant squads of players at all age groups who all play the right way and this gives everyone confidence in further club progression in seasons to come. It is hoped that in the near future the club will produce its first player to go on to play in the Women’s Super League.


Off the field the club has been awarded Charter Standard and Respect Club status by the FA for high standards of coaching, administration and conduct. The Alex Ladies were proud to be named as the Crewe Civic Sports Club of the Year in recognition of its achievements, the playing opportunities given to local girls and the work the club does for charity and in the local community.



Team playing their home games at the Cumberland Arena, Thomas Street, Crewe, CW1 2BD. Training for all of the teams takes place at either The Alexandra Soccer Centre or Reaseheath College. stMatch days see the 1
