Marcus Haber to miss Saturday's trip to Bradford City following call-up.
Crewe Alexandra are set to lose Marcus Haber following his latest call-up to the Canada International Squad. Haber was initially on stand-by for his countries World Cup qualifiers against Honduras and El Salvador but an injury and subsequent withdrawal has seen Haber drafted into the squad for matches on 13th November and 17th November.
Haber will now miss Saturday’s trip to Bradford City on Saturday along with our on-loan winger Harry Wilson, who has been called up to the Wales Under-21 squad.
Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis has had his plans disrupted ahead of our trip to Valley Parade as he has recently teamed Haber up front with youngster Callum Saunders. The Alex boss will now have to assess his system after only recently switching to a 4-4-2 formation. The likes of Lauri Dalla Valle and George Cooper will be hoping for an opportunity unless he reverts back to 4-3-3.
